Keith Maillard fonds. 1960-1993.

The fonds consists of manuscripts, correspondence and reference files which document the creation of Maillard's novels, short stories and screenplays. His 'anti-war' period in the late 1960s is represented by issues of underground newspapers and audio recordings of Maillard's radio show in Boston. Also included are music scores of his arrangements for The Ferron Band and correspondence with other writers.

Keith Maillard was born in Wheeling, West Virginia in 1942. From 1968 to 1970 he wrote and produced a weekly public affairs radio show called The Underground News for Boston University Radio. During the same period he was also a writer and editor for the underground newspapers The Free Press of Boston and Broadside.
